Hadrian, 117-138. Sestertius (Orichalcum, 32 mm, 23.23 g, 6 h), Rome, circa 126-127. HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS Laureate head of Hadrian to right, with slight drapery on his left shoulder. Rev. COS III / S C Roma seated left on cuirass, placing her right foot on helmet, holding Victory in her right hand and cornucopiae in her left; behind, shield set on the ground. BMC 1297. Cohen 343. RIC 870. An attractive and well struck piece. Light deposits, otherwise, good very fine.
